About The Position:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Payroll & HR Officer to join our growing team based in our Annandale office. This is a part-time role and we are happy to offer flexibility for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of the fortnightly pay run for approximately 20 staff and 50 contractors. You will support the data entry for employee records, ensuring the organisation's legislative compliance for record keeping. This role is also involved in recruitment, onboarding and exit processes, employment contracts, worker’s compensation, and will be involved in various HR projects.
To be successful in your application you will need to demonstrate:
- Demonstrated payroll experience in a medium to large organisation including interpretation of Award and Enterprise Agreements and knowledge of remuneration, wages and conditions.
- Substantial experience with payroll systems and a demonstrated understanding of interfaces with time and attendance and financial systems.
- Substantial experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office products.
- Demonstrated high level administrative knowledge and capability in a fast-paced and ever-changing office environment, whilst meeting service demands.
- Demonstrated effective professional communication skills, both verbal and written, including the capacity to complete documentation or reports as required.
- An interest in, and willingness to learn, Human Resources processes.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $70,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 21 – 32.5 per week
