About the Park
Located in the small beachside town of Kioloa, wake up to the sounds of the waves crashing with mere footsteps between you and the beach at Ingenia Holidays Merry Beach. The caravan or camping experience you’ll find here is the definition of beachfront, with the choice of sites directly on Merry Beach itself for uninterrupted water views..

If you do decide to stray from the peaceful surrounds of Ingenia Holidays Merry Beach, make the short trek to Murramarang National Park, where you can soak up nature by tackling one of the beach-hugging hiking trails. Back at home base, soak up the amenities which include a new playground and resort-style pool.


About the Role
Seeking a friendly and professional Park Manager to ensure the successful operation of our Ingenia Merry Beach Holiday Park. You will be an individual that is motivated to provide memorable experiences for our guests as well as someone with previous experience in tourism and hospitality.


Responsibilities

  • Provide high levels of customer service to all guests and residents.
  • Management of staff including roster preparation and performance management and recruitment of new staff
  • Finance and resource management for consumables, grounds and buildings
  • Support construction and development teams with new cabins and refurbishment processes
  • Conducting weekly inspections of the site
  • Collection of outstanding payments from residents
  • Attend to emergency situations when required.

About You

With a background in tourism, property, sales or venue management, you should be passionate about the tourism industry and be able to demonstrate your experience with the following:

  • Experience in managing similar assets, preferably Tourist/Caravan Parks.
  • Operational and project management skills.
  • Experience using Newbook or similar booking software.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent administrative, financial controls and practices.
  • Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.
