A bit about the role
A fantastic opportunity exists for a highly motivated, passionate, and community-focused individual to join our exciting Family & Sector Partnerships Team. Your positive, innovative, and inquisitive mindset will be fully encouraged in this capacity by a cooperative and solution-focused team.

The operational success of the Community Support Department is through the hard work of administrative and customer service support that ensures Wyndham residents have access to services for children and families, in an efficient and effective manner that complies with legislative and Council requirements and procedures.

We are looking for someone who possesses excellent attention-to-detail, time management, and administration skills to help us to continue to deliver an exceptional Early Years’ Partnership support to our community. You must work well in a team environment and communicate with families, colleagues, and supervisors in a friendly, approachable, and emphatic way.


What you’ll deliver


  • Contribute to a collaborative, solution-focused, and positive team culture with an innovation and continuous improvement lens.
  • Deliver quality administrative support, such as maintenance requests and procurement, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Coordinate inventory purchasing & management and on-site work visits for new Community Centres and Kinder on School Sites.
  • Excellent stakeholder management to facilitate community information sessions
  • Use your initiative to aid colleagues and members of the community while managing competing priorities effectively and efficiently.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment in a collaborative and respectful way
  • Strong communication and data entry skills
  • The capacity to resolve complex problems and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to adapt to change with a positive mindset and openness
  • Knowledge and understanding of computer systems and the ability to learn other software programs
  • Ability to organise and control own workload and time to achieve specified outputs
  • Certificate in administration or relevant administration experience
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
