About the role & Company
A reputable national business based in Sydney has a need for a well rounded and experienced Credit Controller to join their team on short notice. You will have proper training and a handover and available to start immediately or on short notice.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading industry business and thrive within their supportive and friendly environment. The company offers very flexible working conditions. They do require staff to come into the Sydney CBD office one to two times per week.
The Responsibilities:
Reporting directly into the Shared Service Manager, you will be responsible for the credit function, with tasks include:
- Manage a $5 million customer ledger
- Banking, Allocation & Receipting
- Reducing outstanding debt through collection activities
- Investigation of un-reconciled payments
- Handling customer enquries, investigations and dispute resolution
- Processing and raising of invoices
- Update customer accounts
- Month-end activities and reporting.
- Must have proven and previous experience as a Credit Officer / Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable officer
- Must be able to multi-task, take control and ownership of accounts
- Success in reducing outstanding debts and DSO
- High attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to customers
- Excellent communication skills

- Experience with SAP
